Market time again...

It's been a busy month prepping for Finders Keepers! One week to go, still more planting to do....

Let the fun begin...prep has started for The Finders Keepers again in 16th&17th October. Royal Exhibition Buildings in Carlton. 

Started working on some collage & paper packs. 

Lewis Chessmen

I've decided to keep this intriguing trio of chess pieces. They are stamped with BM (Brittish Museum) and are a stunning replica of the original dated 1200ad which were thought to be made from walrus ivory and whale bone. Originated in Norway, but where a hidden treasure that was to find its way to Ireland (the Isle of Lewis)  The Lewis Chessmen .

What a wonderful,exhausting time at The Finders Keepers! So lovely to meet everyone and see and hear reactions to my collection in person....

Busy weekend in my studio....

Starting to prepare for Melbourne Finders Keepers at the end of next month, I got stuck into my collection tins this weekend , and also got a little sidetracked playing around with some of my oddities and curiosities collection .....

I 'be used a lovely old Diary, which if you look closely you will see the page is opened at Easter Eve. Written in German so if any one can translate, feel free! My son and I went to collect eggs from our neighbours yesterday afternoon, he found some lovely feathers for me too, so inspired my Easter collection...

Warrandyte Festival

Great weekend in my hometown of Warrandyte. We had our annual festival, great music, food and market, which for the first time I was a part of.
