Busy weekend in my studio....

Starting to prepare for Melbourne Finders Keepers at the end of next month, I got stuck into my collection tins this weekend , and also got a little sidetracked playing around with some of my oddities and curiosities collection .....

I love to visit this store, it's a beautiful mix of all that I love. Vintage and industrial furniture, natural history, anatomical and pharmaceutical pieces, taxidermy, and religious statues! Your one stop shop for all things beautiful !

One of my favourite stall holders I like go visit early on a Sunday morning; love his tables of 'lovely junk', I can spend hours sifting through and finding what becomes my treasure!

A little Easter collection... 

I 'be used a lovely old Diary, which if you look closely you will see the page is opened at Easter Eve. Written in German so if any one can translate, feel free! My son and I went to collect eggs from our neighbours yesterday afternoon, he found some lovely feathers for me too, so inspired my Easter collection...

Warrandyte Festival

Great weekend in my hometown of Warrandyte. We had our annual festival, great music, food and market, which for the first time I was a part of.

I'm putting together bits and pieces, including old postcards, stamps, text, botanical print, anatomical print, just a great selection of bits and pieces to create whatever your heart desires.! First Market ...

Well had my first market for The Naturalist on Sunday,...for Greville Village Market. Lovely day, weather was great, wind was a factor I didn't factor in, a few broken bottles later and all went well! Lovely positive feedback from market goers... So lovely to see the different reactions from people; curious, wonder, delight and even fright!! This photo below is of my most happiest of customers, loved his choice tiny succulent planted in a tiny vintage mustard pot...made my day!
